As a responsible business, Allstar Solar Partners wants to make sure that during this unique time we maintain a high level of customer service in regards to installing and servicing your home solar system. This means staying in compliance with all health and safety orders given by the local, state, and/or federal governments. We have created this list of questions and answers to help you understand how Allstar Solar Partners will be operating during this time.
Will Allstar Solar Partners be closed due to the Coronavirus?
No. Currently, Public Health Department officials have classified businesses like Allstar Solar Partners as Essential Businesses. In addition, Allstar Solar Partners is considered critical infrastructure. What this means is that even under the current orders, Allstar Solar Partners employees are allowed to leave their homes to operate our business.
Why is Allstar Solar Partners considered a Critical Infrastructure?
There are 16 sectors that are considered “vital.” Within the energy sector, there are 3 segments, electricity is one of them, which is where Solar is classified. We provide services necessary to maintain the safety and essential operation of solar electrical systems, specifically by providing electricity.
Is Allstar Solar Partners allowed to do work at my home?
Yes. Under current orders, Allstar Solar Partners employees are allowed to leave their homes to operate our business.
Does Allstar Solar Partners anticipate delays in installations, servicing, or repairs?
No. At this time we are fully operational.
Do I need to do anything special if Allstar Solar Partners comes to my home?
Please be sure to practice Social Distancing and wash your hands frequently. Know that Allstar Solar Partners employees will carry out the services and exercise Social Distancing practices imposed by any local, state, and/or federal order, to the fullest extent possible.
Does the county I live in support Allstar Solar Partners continuing to operate?
At this time, yes.
What steps are you taking to keep your employees and customers safe?
We are complying with all health and safety orders given by the county, state, and/or federal governments. Additionally, we have conducted training and education to ensure that our employees know how to stay safe. We monitor these orders closely from the Public Health Departments for affected counties.
Will I need to be present when Allstar Solar Partners is working at my home?
In most cases, no. Just be sure to leave any gates unlocked or anything else that could prevent us from accessing your roof or electrical meter. If you do need to be present, we will let you know ahead of time and will take care to practice Social Distancing when we are on site.
